**Big news! New (limited quantity) stock available now.** *Here’s a sneak peek at just some of our new shapes!*

Hello and welcome to the Impress! Bakeware blog!

We’re Susie & Jill, sisters-in-law and spritz cookie fanatics. And we’re back!

Since 2014 we’ve been designing and selling exciting new cookie press disks in festive, beautiful, whimsical designs in over 200 shapes. Originally our disks were made of a clear food grade acetyl. They were our petite sparkling gems and we enjoyed baking with them. Recently, however, we’ve made a big change in our disks! Why? Glad you asked. 😉

Impress was closed for the 2018-19 Holiday season, for family reasons, which turned out to be a lucky decision since Susie’s daughter became seriously ill and required near constant care during that year. There was no time to do our usual crazy Holiday Season sales, and we thought we were closing permanently. Behind the scenes we were hoping, fingers crossed, that a re-opening would be possible. Thanks to the incredible staff at the Mayo Clinic, Susie’s daughter is more stable now, and has been cheering us on to re-start Impress bigger and better than ever.

We worked tirelessly over the spring/summer of 2019 to try to re-open in time for the Holidays. A manufacturing delay made us a late for this season, but there’s still time in this Holiday Season for you all to enjoy some of our new products. Down time can be a gift, and ours gave us a chance to figure out what changes would make our company better than ever. Our disks have a new look, there are over 3 dozen new shapes in 6 new sets, and we’re offering our own press! Our website has a sleek new platform where you can see the changes we’ve made, including switching to thinner white disks made of incredibly strong food grade material. We hope those of you who have been with us for a long time will be happy with our changes, and we’re excited to expand our horizons to new bakers and cookie enthusiasts.

New disks are coming in slowly from our new manufacturer, and we will make them available as they arrive over the next few weeks. This will be a very short season for us, but we wanted to make available all that we could for you for the Holidays, to bake with and give as gifts. The new sets and our most popular Holiday sets will be available first. Everything else will be available as they come in, some after the first of the year. Check with us for updates. We should switch from liquidating old stock to new stock and launching the new website in about a week.

A special thanks to everyone who cheered us on, sent us kind and touching notes, and reached out checking in on Susie’s daughter. It meant the world to us and to her. You guys are the best. We’ve been overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness.

Here’s to new baking adventures for all of us.

Happy Baking!
